Materials Management for Utilities Like our purchasing system, our materials management system provides auditable transaction records for both stock and non-stock items. The system has the ability to distinguish between stock and non-stock, as wells as capital and non-capital items. This allows users a ‘multi-dimensional’ view of material levels. Stock levels are automatically updated by purchasing and work order transactions. Material allocation and dedication are also driven by the work order system. The system provides annual, monthly, and spot physical inventory report formats; and is compatible with both ASCII and UNICODE barcode readers.
